PRESCHOOL

Wednesday September 7, 2011 was Kahners first day of pre-school. My baby is growing up! I had a hard time saying goodbye to my big boy in his class. I'm not sure I'm going to be able to handle leaving him in kindergarten. I barely fought off the tears this time around. Ollie helped me keep on track. He liked Kahner going to school about as much as I did. We went home and snuggled on the couch and watched Rio. He loved having Mama all to himself, since Ava was sleeping, but when I told him it was time to go pick him up he yelled out "YAY! Kahner's coming home! I LOVE kahner!" then he ran out to the car. 

 As soon as Kahner saw me he started to fill me in on all the details of the day, who was nice, who was mean all that good stuff. His teacher,Miss Lici, keeps an evaluation card on each child and works with them individually for a few minutes during every class time according to their needs. She is so good! I asked to see Kahner's card and said he did fantastic. He passed off all his colors, shapes & upper/lower case letters.  I am so proud of you Kahner! Your little brother looks up to you so much and I am so glad you are a good example to him. We are so happy you are part of our family. We love you!!!
