My little preschool graduate! How is it that you are going to kindergarten this year!? Yikes! My sweet, sassy baby girl is growing so fast and is just so darn smart! I am so proud of her. It took everything in me to not sob the entire time. Oh boy. Let's blame this crying and sobbing on the pregnancy hormones shall we?
This little girl of mine may be tiny, but she's got some spunk I tell ya! She can be super shy but she shone bright for all to see on her special night. Not a moment of hesitation when she stood up there all by herself and recited her favorite nursery rhyme (Jack and Jill) and sang loud and proud when they all sang their kindergarten song and their rainbow song!
The cap and gown were a smidge big on my tiny girl...
But that didn't stop her. Her teacher Miss Crystal, presented each student with their diploma and said something kind about each one. I only cried a little I promise. She mentioned how Ava was very determined and was a hard little worker. But each moment of free time she had, she spent making something for someone else. That's my girl. She spends a lot of time at home doing that too. She loves making pictures to send in the mail to Grandpa and Grandma.
A few weeks ago I had the privilege of taking some pictures of Ava and her class. Oh, how cute they are!
I couldn't decide on just one...
I cannot get enough of this sweet girls face.
She may be bound to be the smallest in her class, but as we always say, there's nothing wrong with that! It was the way her mama was and it's the way she is. She's just how God intended her to be.
These cute girls were very blessed to have Miss Crystal for their teacher this year. She is off to a new adventure, continuing her education this year along with all her preschoolers that are moving on to kindergarten. You are an angel from above Miss Crystal, we will look back on these preschool days with fondness always.
