On any given day in the Phantastic 5 household, lots of seemingly mundane things go on. I thought it would be interesting to document some of said mundane activities. Sounds boring right? Turns out, not so much.
(on a side note, please excuse the lack of editing in the pics.. I was lazy, what can I say)
While I am committing such mundane acts as searching recipe's, making said recipe's, washing dishes, laundry, refereeing and feeding children, cleaning up after the... ok, ok, you get the picture right? These are the things the kids are doing...
On any given day you might find the building of lego's. But on this day, after a particularly spirited afternoon tantrum, miss Ava played quietly by herself for an hour building and taking apart legos. It was sweet, sweet bliss for that one little hour...
on any given day, you might find the kiddos munching on some lunch and sipping on smoothies. (with tired-red-its-nap-time-eyes)
On any given day you might find a little girl so exhausted that she falls asleep right in her chair at lunch. Not even enough energy to sip that smoothie ;0)
On any given day, you might find us, milk in hand, at 6am snuggled up on the couch...
On any given day, you might find Kahner begging or playing Skylanders. The nice thing about it is he never sits while playing. He literally bounces with anticipation for his next move, gotta love it. He is usually exhausted after his allotted game time is up.
On any given day, you may find a certain little someone wearing snow boots sans pants, while stockpiling babies. (and I guess Kahner does sit sometimes... upper left ;D but I can guarantee he wasn't sitting long hahaha, he's to restless)
On any given day, if Kahner is getting his Skylander time in, Ollie is getting his ipad time in.
On any given day, you might find a tea party happening.
On any given day, you might find myself and the kiddos dancing in the kitchen (thanks to my new soudnfreaq, from my one and only Valentine, so sweet!) Kahner does look like he's spaced out but I assure you he was mid spin, maybe he was lost in the music hahaha.
and maybe, after said dancing, you might be able to catch a magic show or two...
On any given day, you may find Daddy and the kiddos building things. Duc has been waiting so long (it seems) to be able to build things with his boys! They've been having so much fun! So far we have built a coin bank, two mini catapults, (which the boys are enjoying immensely this morning allowing me to do this post) and planted an indoor greenhouse, one down three more to go.
On any given day, you may find toy shelves/bins empty and the floor impassable, and maybe, just maybe Ollie and Ava playing nicely together gasp! (Worth the mess in my book.)
And alas, on any given day, if Ava gets her hands on the ipad, chances are she will have a brother there to help her. They really are good big brothers. This girl will always be well protected, I'll tell ya that.
